Job summary

Food Bank of the Rockies in Aurora, CO is seeking a Dock Coordinator to manage inventory data entry into the Ceres ERP, weigh and document inbound shipments, and maintain a clean, compliant dock environment per Feeding America and AIB standards.

You will unload/load shipments, operate forklifts, and ensure accurate receiving logs while collaborating with Sourcing, Transportation, and Distribution to support efficient food movement and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in warehouse, receiving, shipping, or dock operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately gather, document, and enter inventory data into the Ceres ERP system.
• Weigh, count, inspect, and document all inbound shipments.
• Accurately record food donations and purchased inventory from a variety of donors and vendors.
• Collaborate with the Food Sourcing Department to maintain accurate information and data tracking.
• Tag all inventory with pallet labels to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Unload and load inbound and outbound shipments and move products to storage or distribution locations.
• Verify freight for quantity, quality, infestation, damage, and food safety compliance.
• Maintain receiving logs and supporting documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and store inventory.
• Adhere to Feeding America, AIB, and Food Bank of the Rockies sanitation and food safety standards.
