Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist for a contract role based in Rogers, MN. You will verify inventory and master data by measuring pallets and items, entering details into the ERP system and supporting spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, inventory control, or data-entry environments is helpful but not required.
• Comfort using measurement tools, scales, and related warehouse equipment.
• Ability to follow established procedures and adapt to evolving inventory and data processes.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record pallet, container, and inventory item dimensions using designated scales and measurement equipment.
• Weigh pallets and inventory items accurately and document the results in the ERP system and spreadsheets.
• Enter all measurements, weights, and related data into the ERP system and spreadsheets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review existing inventory and master data to identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information.
• Follow established procedures and data collection standards to ensure consistent and reliable inventory records.
• Maintain organized records and documentation of all measurements and data-entry activities for audit and reference purposes.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Planning teams to investigate and resolve data discrepancies and inventory issues.
• Perform other inventory- and data-related tasks as assigned to support overall inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Periodically verify parts and pieces on the warehouse floor to confirm measurements and data integrity.
