Job summary

Leggett & Platt Incorporated is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counting and analysis. You will collaborate with Warehouse teams to improve material flow and ensure ERP/MRP system integrity.

The role emphasizes safety, 6S standards, and continuous improvement, with a focus on root-cause analysis and process optimization, supporting production schedules and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years forklift experience (stand-up and/or sit-down).
• 1–3 years inventory control, cycle counting, or warehousing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory transactions.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a shared owner of cycle count execution and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct daily cycle counts per established schedules.
• Investigate discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Verify transactions, locations, quantities, and movements for ERP/MRP accuracy.
• Assist with physical inventories, audits, and reconciliations.
• Support material handlers and production teams to maintain inventory integrity.
• Maintain 6S standards and safe, organized work areas.
• Collaborate with departments to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Operate and keep equipment safe per policy.
