Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Manufacturing Cycle Counter to maintain accurate inventory records in a manufacturing environment. You will perform routine physical counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, reconciling data with ERP records and researching any variances.

The role supports production continuity, inventory accuracy, and materials management while following safety guidelines and using PPE to operate within active production zones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in inventory control or cycle counting in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel.
• Familiarity with BOM, production schedules, and assembly workflows.
• Strong arithmetic, data entry accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Audit production lines and reconcile inventory at various stages.
• Investigate discrepancies and research root causes of variances.
• Document material waste and reconcile damaged or discarded materials.
• Update ERP systems with accurate count data using handheld scanners.
• Maintain safety standards in active production areas.
