Job summary

Kenco Group in Illinois is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain inventory accuracy in a distribution center. You will report on inventory, conduct physical checks, and support system audits to ensure on-time shipping and receiving aligned with customer needs.

As part of a team, you’ll participate in cycle counts and quality initiatives, while helping maintain ISO and regulatory readiness. A background in warehouse operations and basic Microsoft Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; associate degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Familiar with ISO requirements preferred; basic computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain perpetual inventory and generate inventory reports.
• Perform daily cycle counts and audits; track damaged products.
• Verify clerical records against physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate recalls, holds/releases, and infestation or pest control tasks as needed.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready (SQFI, FDA) and support quality management programs.
• Draft/revise site SOPs and maintain the quality portal as required.
