Job summary

RS Integrated Supply in Harvey, IL is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join on-site in the storeroom logistics area. You will handle receiving, stocking, issuing, cycle counts, and ERP data entry while delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

The role focuses on locating stock, delivering items, verifying inventory, and maintaining accuracy in the ERP system, with a Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm shift and hourly pay of $19–$21.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and phone skills.
• Basic computer proficiency with Windows and MS Office.
• Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in part identification.
• Detail oriented and well-organized.
• Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOPs.
• Unpack, verify, and enter receiving and inventory data in ERP systems.
• Issue materials to client; pull, stage, and kit material.
• Store received material and handle tagging, repacking, and delivery.
• Process returns for unused material per SOP.
• Prepare material for return to vendor and repair shipments.
• Perform cycle counts and report discrepancies to Manager/Buyer.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by count and location.
• Identify reorder needs based on on-hand inventory.
• Keep storeroom clean and organized and support special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
