Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. in Dixon, IL is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain accurate inventory. This is a first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm, with responsibilities spanning cycle counting, reporting, and error analysis.

The role supports planners and buyers in inventory planning, and helps sustain inventory control workflows. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and strong reading abilities, plus solid computer skills and tape measure literacy.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong basic math skills and ability to read and interpret documents.
• Solid computer knowledge and ability to use standard software.
• Ability to interpret work instructions, safety documents, and procedure manuals.
• Experience reading standard tape measurements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counts pre-determined inventory items per cycle count procedures.
• Report cycle count activities and maintain cycle count reports.
• Reconcile inventory differences and determine root causes for errors.
• Write corrective actions for inventory solutions and improvements.
• Assist planner and buyer in inventory planning and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory control workflow procedures.
