Job summary

Donaldson Company in Dixon, IL is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain accurate inventory on a first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm. This role focuses on cycle counts, reporting, and reconciling variance to support efficient production and planning.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math, reading and computer skills, and the ability to read work instructions and tape measurements.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety documents, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read standard tape measurements.

Responsibilities

• Cycle counts pre-determined inventory items per cycle count procedures.
• Report cycle count activities and maintain cycle count reports.
• Reconcile inventory differences.
• Determine root causes for inventory errors.
• Write corrective actions for solutions to inventory problems.
• Assist planner and buyer in inventory planning functions and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory control workflow procedures.
