Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate stock records and support cycle counts at our New Bedford facility. You will conduct physical inventory, maintain labeling standards, and help train staff on core warehouse processes.

Ideal candidates will have strong math and analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong math and analytical thinking required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Label products and ensure correct units of measure.
• Train staff on processes to ensure compliance.
• Support reports and data entry for inventory control.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and other audits.
• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely.
• Receive deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
