Job summary

The Chefs’ Warehouse in Hanover Hills, MD is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and support perpetual inventory processes. You will analyze data, generate reports, and maintain Canopy system reports as needed.

Ideal candidates have strong math and analytical skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, able to lift up to 70 lbs, and have prior Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent math, reading, communication (verbal and written) and problem solving/analytical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently or in a team.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Prior Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and support perpetual inventory processes.
• Coordinate cycle counts as scheduled and assist with physical inventories.
• Analyze inventory data and generate reports to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain units of measure and labeling accuracy across products.
• Learn Canopy system and suggest needed reports.
