Job summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to ensure accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts and support perpetual inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will analyze data, generate reports, and maintain labeling standards across product units.

Ideal candidates have strong math and analytical skills, experience with WMS, and the ability to work Monday–Friday with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Excellent math, reading, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Comfortable working in cold environments (34–0 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Previous Warehouse Management (WMS) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory control processes are accurately followed and reported.
• Analyze and report data to manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and warehouse locations.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical inventory, data entry and report generation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support perpetual inventory development and implementation.
• Coordinate cycle counts as scheduled and ensure proper labeling and units of measure.
• Learn Canopy system and generate required reports.
