Job summary

Spr Packaging Llc is seeking an Inventory and Accounting Assistant to support accounting and manufacturing teams with inventory reconciliation, production reporting, and job costing support. The role links operations with accounting to ensure accuracy of inventory records and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, inventory control, accounting support, or related roles.
• Experience with inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and general ledger analysis.
• Reconcile daily production transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Support job costing processes through reporting, analysis, and transaction review.
• Coordinate inventory cycle counts and resolve count variances and errors.
• Support production, warehouse, and accounting personnel to maintain accurate records.
• Prepare operational and inventory reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
