What You’ll Actually Do

• Accuracy Oversight: Ensure the accuracy of accounting data, transactions, and reports related to costs and inventory.
• Reporting and Reconciliation: Assist with preparing and reporting various inventory and material transactions, including month-end reconciliation of inventory to the general ledger.
• Cost Analysis: Perform analytics on the cost of purchased and manufactured materials and services as collected on a variety of cost objects.
• Process Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor system processes to ensure costs are charged and allocated appropriately, taking remedial action as needed, and analyze inventory activities such as cycle counts, scrap, and obsolescence for compliance.
• Departmental Liaison: Serve as a liaison between Manufacturing, Accounting, Program Finance, Program Management, Procurement, and Cost Estimating departments.

• Background: Entry-Level Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related professional field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience: Ability to learn and apply basic accounting concepts and follow company policies and procedures to accurately complete standard accounting tasks.
