A leading staffing services company in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Cost Accountant to support plant operations through cost analysis, inventory control, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, along with 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems is required. This full-time, onsite role involves collaborating with plant managers to enhance profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze raw material, labor, and overhead costs
• Support multiple plant managers on cost and inventory issues
• Maintain cost accounting systems and BOMs
• Handle month‑end close, journal entries, reconciliations
• Support physical inventory and cycle counts
• Drive financial reporting and improvement projects
• Back up other cost accountants as needed

What You’ll Bring

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of cost accounting in manufacturing
• Strong Excel and ERP experience
• Analytical, organized, and detail‑oriented
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks

Bonus Skills
