Job summary

Blue Nile seeks a meticulous Inventory Coordinator to manage inventory processes, create reports, and collaborate with merchandising and planning teams. You will coordinate purchase orders, liaise with external vendors, and ensure quality control feedback is communicated effectively.

This seasonal, full-time role runs during peak holiday season (Sept–Feb) with expected 40 hours weekly and potential overtime. Base pay is 24–26 USD per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel (VLOOKUP, IF, pivot tables, formatting).

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor inventory trackers and reports for optimal levels and leadership visibility.
• Collaborate with merchandising and planning to place asset inventory purchase orders promptly.
• Communicate with external vendors to track and manage open purchase orders until fulfillment.
• Intake and process purchase orders into inventory.
• Document feedback from internal/external quality control to vendors during intake.
• Communicate with vendors regarding quality feedback and timing.

Blue Nile is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team.This role is essential for ensuring theaccurateand efficient management of our inventory. The candidate willbe responsible forhandling various inventory-related tasks, fromowning theinventorypurchasingprocesstocreating ad-hocreporting, andwill work closely with external vendors tomaintainthe highest standards of quality control.

***This role is a Seasonal role with Full-Time Hours of at least 40-hours weekly. There is potential for overtime availability. You will be supporting our Inventory Team during our Peak Holiday Season approximately September through February.

Responsibilities:

• Create andmonitorinventory trackers and reports to ensureoptimalinventory levelsand leadership visibility.
• Collaborate with merchandising and planning teams to create and placeasset inventorypurchase ordersin a timely manner.
• Communicate with external vendors to track and manage open purchase orders until fulfillment.
• Intake and process purchase orders into inventory.
• Document and communicate feedback from internal and external quality control teams to external vendors duringintakeprocess.
• Advanced Excel Skills:Proficiencyin VLOOKUP, IF statements, pivot tables, and advanced formatting techniques.
• Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail in all aspects of inventory management.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent Follow-Through: Strong commitment to completing tasks accurately and on time.
• Inventory Experience Preferred: Prior experience in inventory management is highly desirable.
• Luxury Industry Experience Preferred: Experience within the luxury sector, particularly in jewelry, is a plus.
• Education:Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Base pay range: $24-$26 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
