Job summary

Blue Nile is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Specialist to support the inventory and fulfillment teams in day-to-day movements. You will pick components, receive deliveries, and resolve stock issues to maintain lifecycle records within the ERP system.

This seasonal, full-time role offers overtime availability during November–December and a base pay range of $17.50–$22.50 per hour. Prior jewelry industry experience and ERP proficiency are valued, and no sponsorship is offered at this time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inventory experience, preferably within the jewelry industry.
• Proactive critical thinking with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Pick and consume components to fulfill customer orders.
• Receive inventory in a timely manner including verify deliveries, costs and quantities.
• Collaborate with vendors for accurate stock allocation and shipments.
• Maintain stock and ensure accurate records within ERP.
• Support cycle counts and larger inventory counts.
• Prepare documents from advanced shipping notices from suppliers for timely material receipts.
• Check packing lists for correctness and quality, maintaining product integrity.
• Support returns, cancellations, and other reverse logistics workstreams.
• Handle additional responsibilities and projects to support inventory strategy.
• Communicate proactively with Manager and team for efficient workload handling.

Blue Nile is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Specialist who will support the Manufacturing inventory and Fulfillment teams in controlling day-to-day inventory movements. Responsibilities include efficiently picking and consuming components for customer orders, ordering and receiving component parts, and investigating and resolving stock issues swiftly. The Manufacturing Operations Specialist role has broad responsibilities for ensuring inventory is maintained and tracked throughout its lifecycle withing the factory.

Please note: This is a seasonal position supporting our Manufacturing Inventory Team. The position is full-time hours with overtime availability expected. Base pay range: $17.50 - $22.50 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications. At this time, Blue Nile will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience in inventory related position, preferably within the jewelry industry
• Proactive critical thinking approach to any role
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Computer literacy and comfort
• Works with high attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
• Experience with inventory counts and stock reconciliation preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
