Job summary

Staffmark Group in Lafayette, LA is hiring an Inventory Coordinator to maintain accuracy and control of inventory across the facility. You will conduct cycle counts, document discrepancies, and partner with warehouse teams to improve processes.

The role requires 1–3 years in inventory or warehousing, forklift certification, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. High school diploma or GED expected; training provided and opportunities for growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years in inventory control or warehousing recommended.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain it.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and product integrity.
• Research discrepancies and perform adjustments.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and reconciliations.
• Track and report non-conforming or damaged inventory.
• Ensure proper labeling and inventory documentation.
• Prepare inventory reports and metrics.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to improve controls.
• Train staff on procedures and best practices.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
• Load/unload trucks and assist shipping/receiving.
