Job summary

LMT Defense is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to ensure accurate inventory transactions and proper part placement for storage. You will handle receiving, documentation, and cycle counting to maximize throughput and on-time delivery to services and customers.

The role requires at least 1 year of inventory control/shipping experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Infor, and the ability to use scales for counting parts. Shift is 7am–3:15pm, with 5S practices and safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in inventory control and shipping/receiving in an industrial setting.
• Ability to organize and count parts, using scales for weight counting and hand counting parts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Infor software.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, documenting, and monitoring all sales orders and inventory control.
• Inventory accuracy, control, records, and protection of goods in inventory.
• Validate content to order and securely package orders for shipment.
• Communicating with the area leadership on priorities.
• Responding in a timely fashion to inventory enquiries.
• Stocking levels and cycle counting to ensure accuracy using FIFO.
