Job summary

Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist I in Johnstown, PA to support manufacturing by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of materials. You will help keep production on track by maintaining stock levels and assisting with packing and shipping as needed.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and willing to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. A high school diploma and basic office skills are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 6 months inventory related experience required.
• Must be able to certify on forklift, pallet jack, and other powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Count, sort, or weigh materials to verify against production orders.
• Store and organize items by material type and policy.
• Fill work orders and production orders from pick lists.
• Operate forklifts and hand trucks to move materials.
• Maintain FIFO inventory in ERP system and stock records.
• Assist shipping/receiving as needed.
