Job summary

Medline Industries, LP in the United States is seeking an Inventory Clerk to ensure that all inventory adjustments are reconciled and to maintain high accuracy within a distribution center.

Responsibilities include conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, making under-$500 adjustments in Catalyst or SAP, and communicating with the warehouse team and operations management. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and operate MHE.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: 2 years inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution center; SAP experience.
• Knowledge/Skills: Intermediate SAP knowledge.
• Knowledge/Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel basics (SUM, borders, column width, charts, sorting).
• Ability to take direction and adapt to changing business environment; analytical/problem solving skills.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring that all inventory adjustments are reconciled to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy within a Medline distribution center.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct cycle counts
• Reconciles discrepancies as needed
• Performs adjustments in Catalyst and or SAP to correct financial errors under $500
• Effectively communicate with warehouse team members and operations management to resolve discrepancies
• Operate MHE as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification / Licensure: None
• Work Experience: 2 years inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution center on similar facility. Prior experience with SAP inventory transactions and expertise with enterprise/warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Intermediate skill level in SAP.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Proficient skill in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Ability to take direction, implement changes and adapt to changing business environment.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Physical Requirements: Sit, walk or stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Physical Requirements: Display specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in hot and cold environments, (32F – 95F).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to encompass heights.
• Physical Requirements: Frequent bending and kneeling.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The anticipated salary range for this position: $21.75 - $31.50 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.

Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.

For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
