Job summary

Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for the International Projects team in North Wilkesboro, NC. The role focuses on maintaining precise inventory records for the Emergency Field Hospital, International Disaster Relief, Cleft & Cataract, and Emergency Water Response programs, including receiving, labeling, put-away, and picking.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related work experience.
• General knowledge of inventory management processes.
• Ability to receive and communicate verbal and written directions.
• Ability to acquire and maintain DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Previous forklift operation experience and familiarity with warehouse/inventory systems is preferred.

We are seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our International Projects team in North Wilkesboro, NC. Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus' name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In the role of Inventory Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ
• Ensure precise inventory records and transactions for the Emergency Field Hospital, International Disaster Relief, Cleft & Cataract, and Emergency Water Response programs throughout receiving, labeling, put-away, and picking.
• Perform location consolidations, weekly cycle counts, and support the annual physical inventory to boost space utilization while maintaining the highest level of inventory fidelity.
• Manage delivery and put-away between the main campus and the EWR warehouse, assist with inventory in both sites, support the Logistics Specialist on product readiness for Cleft/Cataract projects, and implement physical warehouse changes as directed by leadership.
• Follow all policies and procedures, remain adaptable to "other duties" as assigned, and model Christ-like integrity to colleagues, vendors, beneficiaries, and the public.

What are the qualifications?

As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) to five (5) years' related work experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
• General knowledge of inventory management processes
• Ability to receive and communicate verbal and written directions and explanations
• Ability to acquire and maintain DOT medical examiners certificate
• Previous experience operating a forklift and/or working with warehouse or inventory management systems is preferred.
