Job summary

Samaritan's Purse in North Wilkesboro, NC is seeking a Medical Operations Technical Specialist to join the Community Medical Outreach (CMO) team. The role will supervise non-clinical clinic operations, deploy with volunteers, and help maintain biomedical equipment to meet regulatory standards.

You will assist in designing non-clinical innovations and ensure timely program support, including locating suitable clinic sites and managing consumables and logistics for setup.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in project management, business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management or similar leadership role.
Experience within a health-related field strongly preferred.
12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required); if not already completed, opportunity to meet and complete requirement is available upon hire.

Responsibilities

Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and be a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
Deploy domestically with volunteers and staff to Samaritan's Purse CMO clinics.
Oversee the setup, take down, and non-clinical operations of each clinic.
Facilitate preventative maintenance of biomedical equipment, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning/sanitizing equipment to meet regulatory standards.
Assist in the design, research, and development of new non-clinical innovations and equipment.
Ensure non-clinical functions for the program are performed in a timely and high-quality manner, including identifying suitable clinic locations with safe utility access.
Assist in managing domestic medical program consumables, inventory, and packing/loading for clinic setup.
Other duties as assigned.
