Job summary

Trillium Professional is seeking an Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator for a temporary assignment in Newton, MA. This role supports the nonprofit's Newton warehouse with inventory control, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, able to perform hands-on warehouse tasks, and to interact professionally with staff and volunteers. Pay rate is $24/hour.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse and/or inventory management experience.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and math skills.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack safely.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push or pull up to 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Track, organize, store, and restock inventory.
• Maintain accurate electronic inventory records.
• Optimize warehouse storage space and product accessibility.
• Receive deliveries and verify invoices and packing slips.
• Prepare products and load trucks for outgoing deliveries; Fill partner orders.
• Support warehouse production and operations as needed.
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse.
• Assist with shelving, racking, and warehouse reconfiguration projects.
• Provide direction at a volunteer work station when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A nonprofit organization is seeking a temporary Inventory & Warehouse Coordinator to support operations at its Newton warehouse during September. This person will be responsible for inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, order fulfillment, and general production support.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, comfortable performing hands-on warehouse work, and able to interact professionally with employees and volunteers.
