Job summary

Cardinal Glass Industries, Inc. is seeking an inventory coordinator for the Maintenance Department in our manufacturing facility. The role focuses on organizing parts in CMMS-guided inventory, providing usage reports to the Maintenance Manager, and restocking materials.

Candidates should have prior inventory management experience, proficiency with inventory software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with outside vendors to ensure stock accuracy and timely replenishment.

Qualifications

  • Previous inventory management experience preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and ability to use various digital tools and technologies.
  • CMMS experience preferred.
  • Strong background in inventory management.
  • Must be able to demonstrate organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be proficient in inventory software and can demonstrate knowledge of inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Organize inventory parts in the Maintenance Department based on CMMS guidelines.
  • Provide reports on usage to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Purchase and restock consumed parts and materials for the Maintenance Department.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors to negotiate pricing and to ensure stock management is up to date.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with small improvement projects.
  • Provide support and feedback to the Maintenance Department on the CMMS system by becoming an expert on our system.
  • Daily rounds and cleaning of the mezzanine parts.
  • Routine part counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Spot check various inventory throughout building.
  • Routine audits of CMMS inventory.

Environmental Conditions:

This position exists in an indoor manufacturing facility. The work environment is a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises, dust, and fumes.
