Job summary

SGI, LLC is hiring an Inventory Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on ensuring inventory items are properly set up and available to the right people, with emphasis on problem solving, data analysis, and cross-department collaboration.

You will support client engagements, monitor access for clients, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely materials for marketing production. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are valued.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to exercise balanced judgement and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability with quantitative reasoning, problem solving and/or data analysis.
  • Experience working in a team setting and/or cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Own client engagement delivery and ensure client satisfaction after interactions.
  • Provide and monitor website access for clients and troubleshoot issues.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure timely availability of materials for marketing production.
  • Analyze inventory levels, identify root causes, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Enter data into Excel and other database applications; track defined KPIs for reporting.

Job description

KEY DELIVERABLES

Description

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring physical inventory items are setup correctly and available to the appropriate people at the right time. The primary functions of the role include problem solving, analyzing inventory data, performing root cause analysis, assisting clients and contributing to policies and procedures. The Inventory Coordinator works in unison with cross-departmental personnel daily to ensure those functions are completed on time.

Client Engagement Delivery:
  • Ownership mentality to ensure clients are pleased after every interaction
  • Responsible for providing and monitoring website access for clients including troubleshooting issues
  • Recognize when to escape issues that require swift and urgent resolution
  • Receive and resolve inquiries through coordination and collaboration, ultimately communicating resolution back to the appropriate individual(s)
  • Exercise flexibility and adaptability required to meet the needs of the client
Internal Collaboration:
  • Partner with internal personnel to research and provide answers to requests
  • Cross-collaborate with team members to provide backup and/or coverage responsibilities for other clients, as needed or assigned
  • Coordinate with internal partners, personnel, and/or external vendors to ensure timely availability of materials for marketing production
Inventory Analysis:
  • Resolve inventory issues, apply analytical skills to resolve inventory issues, identify root causes and corrective actions, and contribute to policies and procedures to amplify continuous process improvement
  • Learn and understand client businesses and the purpose of the inventory
  • Monitor, analyze, and report inventory levels
  • Set up and maintain items in inventory management systems
  • Assess and audit processes quickly
  • communicate the inventory status accurately and promptly
Reporting/Data Analysis:
  • Accurately enter data and information into Excel and various database applications
  • Track and measure defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)to align with SGI and client goals/expectations for reporting and consulting purposes
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience
