Medline Industries, LP in Carteret, NJ, is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to reconcile discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy. Responsibilities include scheduling second cycle counts, reviewing exception reports, and correcting financial errors with SAP and warehouse systems.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of inventory experience in a warehouse/distribution center. You will collaborate across teams to resolve issues and support SOP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct second cycle counts.
• Review daily Movement Exception report and Goods Over Receipt reports and reconcile discrepancies. Perform adjustments to correct financial errors.
• Manage all assigned error queues using various systems.
• Research problem tickets and resolve as necessary.
• Investigate service failures and customer complaints; create RGAs and adjustments in Catalyst and/or SAP to correct inventory.
• Assign errors to warehouse team members for SOP non-compliance.
• Conduct audits of receiving functions including put-aways, delivery receipts, and problem tickets; ensure SOP compliance.
• Effectively communicate with various levels and teams within the company to resolve discrepancies.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule and conduct second cycle counts
• Review daily Materials Movement Exception report and Goods Over Receipt reports and reconcile discrepancies. Perform adjustments to correct financial errors. Record and report information via correct documentation.
• Manage all assigned error queues using various systems
• Research problem tickets and resolve as necessary
• Investigate service failures and customer complaints. Create RGA’s and perform adjustments in Catalyst and/or SAP to correct inventory.
• Assign errors to warehouse team members as needed for non-compliance with SOPs
• Conduct audits of receiving functions including put-aways, delivery receipts, and problem tickets. Assign errors for SOP compliance errors in these functions.
• Effectively communicate with various levels and teams within the company to resolve discrepancies.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$23.25 - $33.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
