Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Controller 1 to support the Logistics Manager in maintaining accurate inventory levels at the Branch office. The role involves overseeing inventory control, conducting cycle counts, and generating reports to identify discrepancies for review.

The position requires organizing, warehouse knowledge, and clear communication with management, employees, and vendors. Training associates and ensuring proper procedures for shipments are key tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and cycle counting in warehouse environments.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis of inventory variances and present solutions.
• Proficient in using warehouse software and MS Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control for the branch office and RMA processes.
• Perform cycle counts and ensure FIFO/FEFO rotation.
• Update warehouse system with all inventory transactions and adjustments.
• Conduct expiry date reporting and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Train associates in inventory control practices.
• Assist in establishing procedures for incoming/outgoing shipments.
