Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods Inc. is seeking an Inventory Controller 1 to support warehouse operations at the Branch office. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory levels, generating reports, and investigating discrepancies under the Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities include overseeing RMA processes, performing cycle counts, ensuring FIFO/FEFO compliance, and updating the warehouse system promptly. Strong organizational skills and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks under time constraints.
• Knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of warehouse environment.
• Capable of communicating and interacting effectively with multi-functional teams and vendors.
• PC literate; basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard software applications.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Experience operating material handler equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RMA processes, inventory control function, and all aspects of inventory for the Branch office.
• Maintain inventory and stock integrity at the set standard; ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance.
• Conducts cycle count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Set up expiry date cycle counting & reconciliation process; lead reporting.
• Ensure the warehouse management system is updated for all inventory transactions.
• Maintain and evaluate inventory records daily; ensure adequate storage.
• Perform cycle count activities to assure inventory accuracy; investigate variances.
• Under direction of a manager, train associates in inventory control practices.
• Assist in establishing operational procedures for verification of shipments and disposition of merchandise.
• Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
