Ryder System, Inc. in Port Deposit, Maryland is hiring a Warehouse Problem Solver. This role focuses on inventory accuracy and efficient operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Weekly pay, paid training, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k); PTO earned from month one. Prior warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, with safety and GMP adherence as priorities.

Competenze

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Equipment certification may be required depending on location.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes; strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility for a fast-paced environment.

Mansioni

• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as needed.
• Provide floor support to supervisors and hourly staff on inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies; maintain GMPs and safety standards.

Warehouse Problem Solver / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay $32.25 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Thursday - Saturday 6:30 am - 6:15 pm, every other Wednesday 6:30 am - 6:15 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands
• Performs other duties as assigned.
