Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Clerk to maintain the efficient operation of the storeroom for designated areas. You will initiate and monitor the flow of operational supplies and serve as a liaison to technologists, nursing personnel, and internal departments.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• 2 years of experience in inventory control, storeroom activities, or clinical services.
• Knowledge of clinical equipment and supplies.
• Ability to perform detail-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated skills in customer service.
• Demonstrated PC proficiency.

Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 11pm-7:30am alternating weekends and holidays

• Experience with the Lawson Inventory System, or other inventory system(s).
• Experience with processing special/rush orders.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to type at least 30 wpm.

Physical Requirements

• May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• May need to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
