Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an Inventory Control Technician for Baptist Beaches to join the Materials Management team on a full-time basis. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4:00pm) with occasional weekend coverage, located at the Beaches—Main Building.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting shipments, recording deliveries in MMIS, resolving discrepancies, staging deliveries, and collaborating with Supply Chain to prevent delays while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates of Arts or Sciences preferred.

• Record deliveries in the MMIS system promptly and accurately to maintain real-time inventory levels.
• Identify and address shipment discrepancies proactively by working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and stage deliveries for department distribution, ensuring supplies and equipment are delivered efficiently and correctly.
• Partner with the Supply Chain Customer Service and other departments to ensure smooth workflows and prevent delays.
• Adhere to safety protocols and organizational standards for receiving, storing, and distributing materials.

Baptist Health is looking to add a Inventory Control Technician to our Materials Management team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a Full-Time opportunity. This is a Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm position, with some weekends as needed for coverage.

As a Inventory Control Tech, you will be responsible for:

• Shipment Processing: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inventory Management: Record deliveries in the MMIS system promptly and accurately to maintain real-time inventory levels.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and address shipment discrepancies proactively by working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Stock Distribution: Prepare and stage deliveries for department distribution, ensuring supplies and equipment are delivered efficiently and correctly.
