Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to join the Materials Management team at Baptist Beaches. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with some weekends as needed for coverage.

You will receive, inspect, verify shipments, record deliveries in MMIS, resolve discrepancies with vendors, prepare and stage deliveries, and collaborate across supply chain to keep stock accurate and accessible while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and PO– ensure accuracy and quality.
• Record deliveries in MMIS system to maintain real‑time inventory levels.
• Identify and address shipment discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and stage deliveries for department distribution.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Customer Service and other departments to prevent delays.
• Adhere to safety protocols and organizational standards for receiving, storing, and distributing materials.

This is a Full-Time opportunity. This is a Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm position, with some weekends as needed for coverage.

As a Inventory Control Tech, you will be responsible for:

• Shipment Processing: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inventory Management: Record deliveries in the MMIS system promptly and accurately to maintain real-time inventory levels.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and address shipment discrepancies proactively by working with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Stock Distribution: Prepare and stage deliveries for department distribution, ensuring supplies and equipment are delivered efficiently and correctly.
• Collaboration: Partner with the Supply Chain Customer Service and other departments to ensure smooth workflows and prevent delays.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and organizational standards for receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
