Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to join the Materials Management team at Baptist Beaches. This full-time role (Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm with some weekends as needed) supports shipment processing, inventory accuracy, and timely stock distribution across hospital departments.

You will verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders, record deliveries in MMIS to maintain real-time inventory levels, resolve discrepancies with vendors,

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Warehouse Experience preferred.
• Distribution Experience preferred.
• Receiving Experience preferred.
• Shipping Experience preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Inventory Experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Processing: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and PO's.
• Inventory Management: Record deliveries in the MMIS system to maintain real-time inventory levels.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and address shipment discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Stock Distribution: Prepare and stage deliveries for department distribution.
• Collaboration: Work with Supply Chain Customer Service to ensure smooth workflows.
• Compliance: Follow safety protocols for receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
