Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Sioux City, IA is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the Inventory department and ensure accurate inventory records.

You will supervise staff, assign tasks, and coordinate with production to maintain smooth operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of Inventory Control or Supply Chain experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Inventory Control or Supply Chain Management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to coach and lead a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and schedule Inventory Control team to meet business needs.
• Lead the Inventory Control team to safely and efficiently complete tasks.
• Coordinate material issues with production to support smooth operations.
• Coach employees to improve performance where needed.
• Assign daily work and maintain department procedures and training processes.
• Reconcile weekly cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory counts.
• Serve as liaison between Inventory Control and other departments.
