ebm-papst in Tennessee seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and control processes in our warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will lead a team of 4-6 staff and coordinate with production, purchasing, logistics, and finance to maintain optimal stock levels.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and proven experience in lean methods and ERP/WMS systems.
Summary: The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and inventory control processes within the warehouse and manufacturing operation. This role leads inventory personnel, coordinates cycle count programs, investigates inventory discrepancies, and ensures inventory records accurately reflect physical stock. The Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with production, purchasing, logistics, and finance teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and support operational objectives. This position with report to the Materials Manager.
Essential Functions of the Job: The essential functions of this job require the person, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform the following:
Bachelors Degree in a related field; or minimum five years related experience; or combination of education and related experience.
1-3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
