Job summary

NFI is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor in California to coordinate cycle counts, reconcile systems, and lead daily inventory control activities in our distribution center.

You will manage a team, conduct pre-shift meetings, train staff, monitor performance metrics, and ensure safety and OSHA compliance across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or 1–5 years of supervisory experience), Manhattan WMS experience, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field, or at least 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Experience with or desire to learn performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily cycle counts, slot audits and reconciliation between systems.
• Prepares analysis of adjustments activities report and researches discrepancies.
• Plans, executes and reconciles physical inventories.
• Maintains timekeeping records and supports employee development.
• Travels to other warehouses and participates in meetings.
• Provides training for Inventory Control team and ongoing staff education.
• Oversees the Inventory Control department to ensure procedures are followed.
