Job summary

Snap-On Tools in California seeks an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to lead receiving, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy in our distribution center. You will drive cycle count programs and supervise a team to maintain high accuracy across all locations.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement process improvements. This role emphasizes leadership and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or inventory control experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Manhattan, etc.).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience.
• APICS/ASCM Certification (CPIM or CSCP).
• Lean Manufacturing or Lean Distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the facility's cycle count program to achieve inventory accuracy targets.
• Execute cycle counting schedules and supervise Cycle Count associates.
• Monitor counts, variance validation, and KPI reporting to management.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, Production, and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Lead annual physical inventory preparation and execution.
