Job summary

Snap-On Tools in California seeks an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to lead receiving, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy in our distribution center. You will drive cycle count programs and supervise a team to maintain high accuracy across all locations.

You will partner with Operations, Quality, Customer Service and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement process improvements. This role emphasizes leadership and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or inventory control experience.
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Manhattan, etc.).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Proven experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience.
APICS/ASCM Certification (CPIM or CSCP).
Lean Manufacturing or Lean Distribution experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the facility's cycle count program to achieve inventory accuracy targets.
Execute cycle counting schedules and supervise Cycle Count associates.
Monitor counts, variance validation, and KPI reporting to management.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, Production, and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies.
Lead annual physical inventory preparation and execution.
