Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Supervisor of Inventory Control to lead cycle counting, adjustments, and high-level inventory analysis for raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished goods. The role balances supply and demand while overseeing cycle counters and coordinating with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree (preferred), 5+ years in inventory control or production supervision in manufacturing, and familiarity with APICS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of inventory control or production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management of material by cycle counts and adjustments in the ERP system.
• Perform in-depth inventory variance analysis and root-cause problem solving.
• Generate inventory reports via MRP system (excess/obsolete, usage, demand).
• Develop procedures to support purchasing, production, scheduling, inventory control, and traffic for JIT delivery.
• Supervise Cycle Counter positions.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Notices with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
• Manage weekly and monthly Bulk Issue counts.
• Communicate inventory issues to Supply Chain Manager with recommended solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication across departments.
