Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor for a 2nd shift (Sun-Thu, 2:00pm-10:30pm) in California. You will lead warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating staffing and safety.

The role requires 2 years of experience, familiarity with SAP/Manhattan/Blue Yonder and MS Office, plus a flexible schedule including overtime. A Bachelor’s in Logistics and managerial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with WMS systems (SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory control and warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by monitoring inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate daily operational activities and staffing schedules to meet customer and company commitments.
• Train, coach, motivate, and develop team members to drive performance and operational success.
• Monitor work quality, ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, team members, and cross-functional departments to achieve business objectives.
• Resolve employee concerns, enforce company policies and procedures, and foster a positive work environment.
• Support safety, housekeeping, and workplace organization standards to maintain a clean and compliant operation.
