Job summary

FNA Group is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead cycle counts, ensure inventory accuracy, and manage material movement across two plants in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires owning cycle count programs, performing root-cause analysis on discrepancies, and coaching Cycle Count Specialists while maintaining 5S standards and KPI reporting. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in inventory control, warehouse ops, or supply chain with 2+ years in supervision.
• HS diploma required; two-year degree preferred; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count activities across two plants.
• Own inventory accuracy targets for Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods.
• Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and process adjustments.
• Audit receiving transactions, POs, transfers, and UOM conversions.
• Support production staging, material issues, and WIP integrity.
• Develop and maintain KPIs including inventory accuracy and aging.
• Coordinate annual physical inventories and reporting.
• Supervise Cycle Count Specialists with coaching and cross-functional support.

Primary Purpose

The Inventory Control Supervisor maintains inventory accuracy, material movement integrity, and transaction discipline across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods supporting two manufacturing plants. This role owns inventory accuracy performance, cycle count programs, physical inventories, audit compliance, inventory reporting, and continuous improvement activities within Sage 500.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count activities across both plant operations.
• Own inventory accuracy targets for Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished Goods inventories.
• Investigate discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and process inventory adjustments.
• Audit receiving transactions, purchase orders, transfers, and Unit of Measure conversions.
• Support production staging, material issues, and WIP inventory integrity.
• Track scrap, yield losses, and inventory variances and provide management reporting.
• Develop and maintain KPIs including inventory accuracy, adjustments, receiving accuracy, and inventory aging.
• Coordinate and lead annual physical inventory planning, execution, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Monitor obsolete and slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct warehouse audits to ensure transaction and process compliance.
• Maintain location control, bin accuracy, and 5S warehouse standards.
• Supervise Cycle Count Specialists and provide coaching, training, and cross-functional support.

Required Skills / Abilities

• Sage 500 or comparable ERP/WMS experience.
• Strong inventory control and warehouse management knowledge.
• Advanced math and Unit of Measure conversion skills.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving capability.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Supervisor / Manager Responsibilities

Directly supervises two Cycle Count Specialists and provides inventory process leadership across receiving, warehouse, and production operations.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Active presence on the warehouse floor involving walking, standing, climbing, and occasional lifting up to 30 pounds. Exposure to forklift traffic, manufacturing equipment, and varying temperatures.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional hours as needed during month-end activities, annual inventories, audits, and special projects.
