Job summary

Purple, based in Illinois, seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to lead a team on the production floor. You will drive accuracy in bin and financial records, manage cycle counts, and partner with operations to resolve issues while upholding safety and attendance standards.

The role requires 5+ years in inventory, 3-5 years supervising, 5 years forklift experience, and strong Excel/MS XLS skills. Competitive benefits and a 30-40 hour workweek are provided.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Inventory
  • 3-5 years Supervisory experience
  • 5 years of Forklift experience (Pacer/EPJ, Reach and Cherry Picker)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience with HighJump WMS and NetSuite ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop the team of Inventory Control Specialists.
  • Maintain 98.5% bin accuracy and 99.5% financial accuracy.
  • Monitor system transactions for system accuracy.
  • Lead quarterly cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Partner with operational leaders to resolve inventory issues.
  • Ensure training, safety, attendance and timekeeping compliance.
  • Provide KPI reporting and project updates to leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.

The compensation target for this role is: $26.50 - $31.00

Physical Requirements:

Physical activities may occasionally include:

  • Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time.

Environmental Conditions may occasionally include:

  • Noisy open office environment

Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):

This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.
