Job summary

Lamons is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in Houston to support inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency. You will handle inventory transactions, BOM updates, and production planning while collaborating with Operations, Purchasing, and Production to meet deliveries.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, audits, and maintaining proper labeling and bin locations. A minimum of 1 year in inventory and forklift experience is required; HS diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year inventory experience.
• 1 year sit-down forklift experience.
• Clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research, investigate, and reconcile inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Process inventory transactions within ERP system (SyteLine), including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and quantity moves.
• Update physical materials and bin locations; ensure locations are labeled and identified correctly.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and ensure all locations are properly identified.
• Ensure SKUs are identified with barcode labels.
• Record material consumption for WIP in SyteLine when not backflushed automatically.
• Participate in physical inventory, cycle counts, and audits.
• Coordinate slow-moving and obsolete inventory disposition.
• Create production jobs in SyteLine based on customer demand and inventory needs.
• Maintain and update Bills of Materials for material planning and production execution.
