Job summary

Johnstone Supply LLC is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to manage inventory accuracy and cycle counts in our Joliet distribution center. You will use power equipment to move stock, data entry to track movement, and collaboration with the DC team to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and process improvement within a fast-paced warehouse environment, with weekday hours and on-site work in Joliet, IL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to operate power equipment (order picker, reach truck).
• Ensure accurate inventory through counts, research, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory counts via daily cycle counts and location checks.
• Research product movement and resolve discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with Receiving, Supervisors, and DC to address discrepancies and returns.
• Lead process improvements in picking, stocking, and receiving to reduce errors.
