Job summary

Johnson Controls Integrated Security in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Material Handler to manage ordering, receipt, stocking, and shipping for the SSO inventory. You will document transactions in Oracle and Perpetual Inventory, conduct inventories, and maintain warehouse safety and organization.

You will pull and issue hardware for install/service jobs, replenish stock, and ensure accurate recording of material movements. Strong attention to detail and ability to lift 50 lbs required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
• Knowledge of Oracle and perpetual inventory systems.
• Attention to detail and good communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Completes online orders and processes purchase orders to maintain SSO inventory levels.
• Keeps warehouse safe, organized, and compliant with standards.
• Uses Perpetual Inventory to document equipment movements and resolves discrepancies.
• Pulls and issues hardware for installation and service jobs as needed.
• Replenishes truck stock and moves material from trucks to the warehouse.
• Opens shipments, unpacks, verifies parts, and forwards receipts to Accounts.
• Delivers material to correct destinations and documents inventory entries.
• Maintains product knowledge and answers technical questions related to work orders.
