Gold Star Foods, a leading foodservice distributor for K–12 schools, seeks an Inventory Control Clerk in Pendergrass, GA to supervise inventory accuracy and support distribution operations. You will manage cycle counts, reconciliation, and receiving/shipping processes in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role emphasizes accuracy, food safety, and collaboration with the Inventory Control Supervisor and transportation teams to ensure timely stock availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in warehouse inventory control.
• Experience with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Ability to operate forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Strong math, Excel, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work overtime; refrigerated environments.

Responsabilités

• Perform cycle counts and audits to maintain accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with supervisor.
• Maintain and update inventory records in systems.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments against PO and docs.
• Process product returns and recalls; assist with put-aways.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
