Job summary

Gold Star Foods in Pendergrass, GA, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support the Warehouse Team by maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, checking in drivers, managing returns, and keeping the dock area clean and secure.

You will work with the Inventory Control Supervisor to resolve discrepancies, conduct daily PO audits for inventory accuracy, and monitor rotation using FIFO/FEFO to minimize spoilage and shrink while complying with food-safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years prior experience in warehousing inventory with administration skills.
• Ability to operate Forklift/Order Picker/Pallet Jack and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs cycle counts and posts totals to inventory records.
• Checks in drivers on arrival to ensure paperwork and product match.
• Manages inventory returns and directs driver placement of product.
• Maintains dock area cleanliness and security.
• Researches discrepancies and supports recalls as needed.
