Job summary

SpartanNash Military, located in Midland, GA, seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy across the distribution center. Responsibilities include counting, data entry, reporting, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure correct inventory levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Involves warehouse/distribution work with accuracy and organization.
• Proven ability to count, research and resolve inventory issues.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory processes in the distribution center through counting and auditing.
• Coordinate with Buying, Accounting, Shipping, Receiving and other departments to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare inventory reports and verify balances in the WMS.
• Monitor slotting and warehouse layout for efficiency.
• Handle short-dated, aged, damaged and salvage inventory.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Work weekends/holidays/overtime as required.
