Job summary

United States Cold Storage seeks a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support inventory control and day-to-day warehouse operations. You will perform cycle counts, maintain accurate records, and assist customers with inquiries while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include resolving discrepancies, operating scanners and warehouse equipment, and supporting audits. The role requires lifting up to 50-70 lbs, standing for long periods, and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Forklift and inventory experience preferred.
• Problem-solving skills required.
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solve inventory discrepancies during warehousing operations.
• Perform cycle counts and respond to customer inquiries.
• Enter or update inventory records to correct discrepancies.
• Liaise for audits or visits regarding warehouse needs.
• Perform customer hold procedures including labeling and relocation.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and take corrective action using reports.
• Prepare inventory reports for customers.
• Operate equipment at elevated heights with fall protection.
• Recover pallets that are improperly seated.
• Assist in escalated or critical situations.
• Prepare and participate in physical inventories.
• Communicate discrepancies to Customer Accounts and other departments.
• Perform Warehouse Associate duties as needed.
