Job summary

United States Cold Storage in McClellan, CA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to help maintain inventory accuracy and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform cycle counts, update records, assist with audits, operate warehouse equipment, and prepare reports for customers and facility leadership. Strong problem-solving and basic MS Word/Excel skills are preferred.

This is a full-time, on-site role with health benefits and retirement options after the initial period.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: forklift and inventory experience preferred
• Problem-solving skills required
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Resolve inventory discrepancies during warehousing operations and communicate with leadership.
• Perform cycle counts, work orders, and other inventory checks to answer customer inquiries.
• Update inventory records in the system to correct discrepancies.
• Act as a liaison for warehouse-related needs during internal/external audits or customer visits.
• Perform customer hold procedures including labeling, relocating, and daily cycle counts.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and take corrective action using hold, lot audit, and aging reports.
• Prepare inventory reports for customers and facility needs.
• Operate equipment at elevated heights with fall protection when required.
• Recover pallets that are improperly seated on the rack.
• Assist in escalated or critical need situations.
• Prepare and participate in physical inventories.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to Customer Accounts and other departments.
