Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics in California seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to support stock taking, cycle counts, and inventory control processes. Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehouse inventory-related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of cataloguing inventory techniques.
• Basic technological knowledge and the ability to operate a PC.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Update and review inspections and corrected inventories.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts by reviewing documentation and verifying against perpetual stock in inventory.
• Generate reports and documentation to research failure activity (e.g., missing stock, unscheduled product moves, non-executed scheduled product moves and more).
• Update inventory based on results of failure research by entering data into WMS following appropriate Arcadia policies and procedures.
• Generate follow-up reports to verify accuracy of adjustments.
• Research for customer claims.
• Participate in all scheduled audits by counting, researching, adjusting, and generating reports.
• Verify item set-up and integrity in dimensions, code dating and UPCs; evaluate set-up and slotting to best assist Receiving, Warehousing and Shipping.
